Pack Size

3D printed Scout woggles, made in the UK from biodegradable PLA. A 21mm internal diameter and an internal retention ridge mean it slides on easily but doesn't slide back off — so it stays on the necker instead of in the bottom of a rucksack. Available in 12 colours and in packs from a single woggle up to full-section quantities.

Sizing — will it fit a UK Scout neckerchief?

Yes. The internal diameter is 21mm, slightly larger than the standard-issue plastic woggle. That extra clearance means it goes over a rolled necker without stretching or bunching the fabric — and the ridge does the work of holding it in place, rather than relying on a tight fit.

It works with Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer neckerchiefs. If your group uses an unusually thick or heavily rolled necker, get in touch before ordering and we'll advise.

Bulk packs for sections and groups

Buying for a whole section? Packs of 3, 5, 10, 20 and 30 bring the per-woggle price down, and you can mix colours across a pack — useful if you run sixes or patrols by colour.

Need more than 30? We regularly print larger runs for group intakes, district events and camps. Contact us for a bulk order quote and we'll price it properly rather than making you add packs to a basket.

Biodegradable PLA — a real alternative to the plastic woggle

A conventional plastic woggle dropped in a wood or a river is there effectively forever. Ours are printed in PLA, a bioplastic derived from renewable plant starch rather than petroleum. It's rigid, lightweight and hard-wearing in normal use — but it isn't a material that will outlive the Scout wearing it.

Practically speaking: it'll survive camp, hikes, weekly meetings and being repeatedly lost and found in the bottom of a rucksack. Avoid leaving it somewhere very hot, like a car dashboard in July.

Colours

Green, Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Pink, Light Blue, White, Black, Silver and Gold. Each woggle carries the fleur-de-lis on both the front and the back.

Looking for a colour that isn't listed? Ask us — we can often match a group or district colour on a made-to-order basis.

Other woggle designs

Prefer a different shape? We also make an oval Scout woggle, which is a little easier for younger members to thread. You can see the full range in our Scout woggle collection.

Delivery

Orders are normally dispatched within 1 working day. During busy periods — September intake in particular — this can extend to 3 working days. Free standard delivery on orders over £30.

Frequently asked questions

What size is a Scout woggle?

Ours has an internal diameter of 21mm — slightly larger than the standard-issue woggle, which makes it easier to thread over a rolled neckerchief.

Will the woggle fall off the neckerchief?

No. There's a ridge moulded into the inside of the woggle that grips the rolled necker and holds it in position. It threads on and off easily by hand, but it won't work its way loose during the day — which is the usual reason woggles go missing.

Are these suitable for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts?

Yes — the same woggle fits all sections, including Explorers and adult leaders.

Can I order in bulk for a group or district?

Yes. For quantities above 30, or for custom colours, contact us for a quote. We print to order and can usually turn around a group intake within a week.

Do you offer custom or personalised woggles?

We can produce custom designs for camps, anniversaries and district events — badge-style woggles, group names, event logos. Get in touch with what you have in mind.
